Do I need to bring cash?

Yes. While many stall holders will accept payment by card / phone you’ll find it a lot easier if you bring some cash.

Where’s the nearest ATM?

There are cash machines in the Londis and the Shell Garage. The post office in the Home Hardware store will also give cash back.

Are the fairground rides still 50p?

Yes. Fairground rides are still just 50p a ticket.

Where can I buy raffle tickets?

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the Raffle Ticket & Information point, directly opposite the Village Fair Bar

How do I register for the dog show?

Register for the Dog Show at the Arena. £2 per category.

What if it’s raining?

Check the weather. If it looks like it’s going to rain bring a coat or a brolley. The fair will go ahead whatever the weather conditions, unless it is unsafe to do so.

Where can I park?

There will be very limited parking. The Green ( north side ) will be closed to traffic. There will be parking restrictions on the south side, up Redhill Road as far as the junction with Castle Road. Please try to walk to The Green if at all possible.

Is there disabled parking?

Several parking spaces for blue badge holders will be available at the Pharmacy, from 1pm

Are there toilets?

Yes. They will be situated at the Links Lane end of The Green

Are there disabled toilets?

Yes. At the pavilion at the Recreation Ground, The Fairway… the road opposite the Parish Hall. These close at sunset.

There’s also one at The Robin Hood inn, and another The Castle Inn; both open all day.

Will there be music?

Yes. There will be FREE music during the day and the evening.

Will there be food in the evening?

Yes. Food will be available from around 6.30pm until sold out. See Food and Drink

When does the fair open and close?

The fair opens at 11.00am. The Horticultural Show, in the Village Hall, will be open to the public from 12 noon. Evening entertainment starts at 5.00pm. The fair closes at 11.00pm.

Where can I see the model railway?

It’ll be in The Church on the Green.

What do I do if I’ve lost one of my kids?

Approach the stage or find any RCVF official in a green t-shirt.
